Made a few good stops, but his decision making on crosses is a big problem. For such a big keeper he should own that 18 yard box! He doesn't even control the six yard box. He has improved over the last year, but he always has at least one mistake in him and consistently looks like he does not know when to pass quickly or to hold onto it.

As much as I give him stick, I also feel sorry for him. He's a reserve/backup goalie at best and has somehow found himself having to perform at a level that he is incapable of week in and out. Must be a rather uncomfortable situation to be in. Knowing that your teammates, fans, peers and everyone in the game knows that you are in a false position.

He has done well since the new goalkeeping coach was brought in by sam and i was a big critic, but there not many better for sale that we can replace him with

£65 million worth of keepers on show last night , both piss poor , just doesn't seem to be any quality keepers around . All this fuss about lack of footwork baffles me, keepers sessions consist of quite a bit of dealing with all kinds of deliveries to their feet, Pickford was very poor, his distribution was awful , his positioning very poor , watch him try and set the wall up, clueless. Really don't think Wayne deserves the stick he gets on here , there's probably only 3 or 4 competent keepers in the Prem,
