Looks like Benteke is going to happen. He is only 23 but thirty million is a massive gamble....I think it's ten million too much myself. I guess the success of the transfer will be measured not only in staying up but in how much he fetches when sold. This transfer will define Pardew more than any other. £30 mil the going rate for a 20 goal a season striker these days.
