Maybe his finishing has never been great but how can a player assist goals when he is double/tripled mark every game, together with the rough treatment he receives. Perhaps his teammates should have stepped up to the plate and supported him more on the pitch.
No disrespect but I prefer to listen to ex-players who believe he is a top 6 player, rather than your opinion.

I'm inclined to agree. Then again he's had one foot out the door for so long, you have to wonder if he just likes something to moan about.

If he stays he'll still be a Palace player and I, for one, will support him UNLESS he throws his toys out of the pram because he didn't get a move.

HOWEVER, I fully expect him to move during this window, but maybe not before the new season has started. I can see both the board and any suitors 'playing poker/chicken' etc. until one side backs down and either accepts what's on the table or pays what's being demanded.

I do, though, think we will buy in before we sell him. The board, hopefully have learned that it's not a good idea to get funds in from sales before you start going after what you need (inflated prices)

I’ve already said it on this thread but If Ollie McBurnie Is worth close to 20 million then Wilf is worth 3 times that at least. There is not a snowballs chance in hell of him leaving for £25 million.

I think we will be short changed if we only got 25 million, when you hear that Ben Chilwell at Leicester City and Jack Grealish of Villa are muted to be moving for 80 million each.

I rate Wilf far better than those two, and so will the Palace board...

If Zaha is going I hope the matter is resolved in the next week or so and does not drag on through the whole transfer window until October.
The club will obviously want to extract maximum value for him which is likely to mean brinkmanship and last minute haggling which could impact on our other dealings as we may not know how much money we have to play with for purchases.
Ideally you’d want a bidding war with plenty of interest and good players offered to us in exchange as well as cash.
I can’t see him going overseas, however, and realistically you can only see a few clubs interested in him and their interest is likely to be tested if the asking fee is north of £70 million.
