For me:

VG - 7. Literally nothing to do.
Ward - 8. Solid defensively and linked up well.
Kouyate - 8. Great.
Cahill - 8. Great.
Mitchell - 6. Average. Won’t be the great academy player we hope.
Luka - 8. Fantastic. Tackles, interceptions, distributed well.
Schlupp - 7. Meh. Nothing wrong. Nothing great.
Townsend - 8. Very good. Threatening throughout.
Wilf - 5. Bang average. Needs to go.
Eze - 9. Amazing. Everything Wilf used to be for us. Our best player.
Benteke 8. Awesome. Won everything. Great save denied him 2.

I noticed this too. Looked pissed off that Eze scored instead of passing to him. It's a team game and no one should be bigger than the team.

The same one as you, I’d imagine. Constantly traveling with the ball down that right hand side with pace and purpose. Put in crossed. Lovely little touches to release Eze. He’s limited, sure. But was decent tonight.

Mostly agree though I thought Mitchell played well as he did in our last game. Ward is a fantastic servant and tries hard, but he has absolutely zero footballing ability.
Let's see how we fare against Saints who will be a far stiffer test than the Leagues worst team. Luka looks good when not up against pace, just like quite a lot of our ageing squad.

As we frequently say, it's all about opinions, in my opinion I also thought Townsend was decent today as well.

221 appearances in the worlds best league. What a stupid comment. Ward is Mr Reliable and a model pro.
