Edited by Stirlingsays (21 Apr 2019 1.55pm) Sorry to tell you but I believe it is you, and those who think like you who are deluded. I have most definitely NOT been directly proved wrong. That Trump and Barr spin the Mueller report to suit a particular narrative doesn't make it so. There is a great deal there which is full of traps for Trump and opportunities for further investigations. Collusion was never going to be found as it seems that term is not a crime, whilst co-operating with and encouraging foreign interference is. Mueller seems to have been very smart and inoculated his enquiry against Barr curtailing it by handing off certain aspects to other jurisdictions whilst having a number of ongoing enquiries still open himself. The most notable of which seems likely to be into Wikileaks, Assange and whether anyone in the Trump campaign assisted or encouraged them. You must recall Trump himself asking Russia to "find the emails". It could hardly be more obvious could it? No, there is a huge way to go yet. Trump's big smile is just bravado to boost his base. If you cannot see that then you are proving my delusion theory. The Euro elections are likely to prove uncomfortable for both the Tories and Labour. How a fight between UKIP and Farage will work out is as yet unknown but much as I dislike Farage he has to be preferable to any party prepared to tolerate the likes of "Tommy Robinson" in their ranks. How the "Remain and People's vote" groupings work themselves out is also unknown, as is whether those who think like that will take the election seriously. Turnout is difficult to predict but that the result won't mean very much isn't. There will doubtless be a lot of noise, especially from Farage, but it won't be the MEP's taking the actual decisions will it? Nevertheless I will certainly be voting and encouraging everyone else I know to do so. Once I know who will be the strongest "Remain" candidate locally, which will likely be the Liberals given where I live, then I will be out supporting them. These elections will just be a distraction, about which all kinds of baseless claims will doubtless again be made. Nevertheless we must make sure those claims are countered and the truth be told.

On the leave side I wouldn't be so certain that they won't fight each other.....the left and right are no different when it comes to infighting.

There are a few days left to submit nominations and from what I read UKIP are trying to find ways to make him a member. You seem though to know more about this so perhaps you are on the inside! In any case there would be nothing to stop him standing as an independent who takes the UKIP whip and against whom UKIP don't field a candidate but offer instead their support. It could get messy.

I am a Ukip member. This situation has been clearly stated by Batten to the media many times now but perhaps the media sources you use just aren't interested in telling you reality. The rules state that those that joined the BNP or some other groups can't join Ukip. Robinson briefly joined the BNP a few decades back. So Robinson's relationship to Ukip is as an unpaid adviser to Batten. He isn't in the party. To join Ukip he would have to wait until the leadership elections and then if that leader wished it he could join if the party had an internal vote and treated him as an exception. All this is unlikely. Support for Robinson in Ukip is around fifty fifty I'd say. The older crowd are less enthusiastic than the younger. As for the elections Robinson isn't interested in standing he's involved in carving out a media role for himself after receiving financial backing. I'm not going to go into what he's up to but it will be interesting and it isn't anything to do with political parties.

Having his own "media role", TV or YouTube channel, is fine. Those who admire him will no doubt enjoy his platform and promote it as the source of real news, whilst everything else is fake in true Trumpian style, but the rest of us can add it to the list of outlets to be disregarded or ridiculed, like Breitbart and InfoWars.

Back to Donald Dump: Trump was not exonerated for obstruction, on the contrary he was implicated but mueller said it would be unfair to charge him AND DOJ rules indicate you cannot indict a sitting president. He has basically laid out a road map to congress to impeach on multiple counts of obstruction. He included the corrupt motivation, the so called “I’m f***ed” line. The corrupt sycophant invertebrates like Mitch McConnell will never vote to remove trump from office though so the dems won’t impeach unless the base turns, which probably wouldn’t happen even if the commander in cheat gunned someone down at fifth and lex. It is up to suburban housewives and moderate republicans to remove Donny Dump next year.

What has Robinson stated exactly that was fake news? He was referring to Islamic rape gangs a long time before the Times exposured the story. Back when his critics were patting themselves on the back calling him a 'racist'.....indirectly making the institutions scared to act because of their idiotic commentary. Indeed, some of what is coming from Robinson is going to concentrate on this hypocrisy from our so called guardians......most of whom live in nice areas and don't have to deal with the consequences of their politics.

If you actually read what I wrote I didn't accuse Robinson of spreading "fake news" did I? I suggested he would likely declare everyone else is doing that, just as Trump does. Let's see though if it happens. What he does do is rabble rouse and use emotional responses when cool heads would be more effective and less divisive. The MSM may well have suppressed stories at the behest of the authorities and done so for very good reasons. We elect our politicians to take a broad and long view on how to solve societal problems and a loud mouth who thinks he knows better is not going to improve things at all. Indeed he may well make things a lot worse. Not that I expect you to even see that, let alone agree with it.

Well you wrote, 'Those who admire him will no doubt enjoy his platform and promote it as the source of real news'. So I take it you are suggesting that this isn't 'real news' so surely my assumption is fair enough. In terms of what you think is wise in terms of Robinson highlighting problems I want to say this Wisbech. I was brought up on lies about cohesion and integration. I grew up in an army family....a working class BBC family who trusted its 'betters'. It took actual life experience to realise the truth about how it actually works. How the middle class insulate themselves from the policies they support by house pricing.....how the reality is that integration only works when you have a small enough minority who then are forced to integrate to get by.....as soon as their numbers mean that they can group enough into an area to become significant there...integration stops for the majority and division increases. Essentially you seem to be saying, 'let sleeping dogs lie' is some sort of way to steer a nation's ship. That's no different to sticking your head in the sand when the hopeless reality is that as demographics continue certain power bases in society will increase. I've a right to be extremely angry because I wasn't only lied to I was told that I'm an nazi for holding the same commonplace beliefs that I was raised with....raised by the children of people who actually fought the Nazi regime. What Robinson is saying isn't exactly what you want to hear Wisbech, I totally agree with you.....it isn't a reality I enjoy facing either. But I'm in the camp of unpleasant truths rather than what some consider noble lies. You also seem to be a bit ignorant of that fact that by suppressing stories the authorities allowed these rapes to continue for many years. Fathers were actually arrested for 'racism' for trying to protect their daughters. You know why you get 'rabble rousers' Wisbech? I suspect being in a nice part of Cornwell you don't really want to know. You might as well be saying, 'let them eat cake'. Edited by Stirlingsays (22 Apr 2019 6.52pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (22 Apr 2019 5.18pm) Robinson though doesn't just "highlight problems" does he? You can do that very effectively through the proper channels. He is stirring up hatred and dividing people, when what is needed is love and healing. Of course those who commit crime need to be caught and punished and those who protect others need support. What must not happen is to accuse whole communities and try to make them responsible for any criminals in their midst. Robinson and those who support him are at best short sighted and at worst racists trying to hide under a cloak of public service. That you think you were fed lies about integration and cohesion doesn't mean they were lies. It is much more likely that the policies needed to achieve those noble aims are difficult to implement and are taking longer than people either wanted or anticipated. The bottom line though is that there is no achievable, respectable alternative. We have to persevere until we succeed or the whole world risks a catastrophe. My father fought both the Nazis and the Japanese and I too was brought up in a deprived area, in a council house, where both my parents felt uncomfortable around anyone different. I learned to think for myself and the biggest influence was in the last 20 years during which I have spent almost as much time in Asia as the UK. There I have seen real poverty and social stress at first hand. Christian and Muslim militias fight occasional skirmishes, their recruits joining much less because of ideology than that they get fed every day. They call ceasefires whenever they all want to watch sport on the TV. Behind them the ordinary people live side by side coping with the same daily struggles of feeding their families. The lesson I learned is that all people are basically the same and just need the opportunity to show it. Ridding the world of religion would stop all of these problems but until we do that we have to stop creating more division and concentrate on the healing.

This is Raheem Kassam, picture below, one of Robinson's friends and allies. You are spreading falsehoods out of ignorance or malignant intent. I think Robinson has been interpreted as doing this 'whole' thing about once and he's been covering this years. I've watched a lot of his stuff and as usual you don't know what you are talking about. Yet in countries that didn't go down this internationalist route on immigration....they don't get these attacks. How about the people who created this situation get to answer for it. How about instead of telling people.....from your home in Cornwall...that they need to learn to enjoy their s***e sandwich. How about you go and live in the mess you support. You should live in Savile Town, because it's people like you who created it. There are no policies from here that are now cost free....thanks to your ideology. However, policies such as banning male circumcision and the preparation of Halal meat would not only stop these barbaric practices but make this country less attractive to this issue. But now, thanks to internationalists on immigration we have to live with multiple terrorist attacks a year and get told to tread carefully on what we say.....So we don't upset anyone. Great Britain......What have they turned you into. Originally posted by Wisbech Eagle

How to handle it most effectively and permanently is the issue. That my opinion is different to yours doesn't make it false! You sound like Trump" Watch much Tommy Robinson do you? Or are you talking with about as much knowledge as you usually do.Please, leave Cornwall and go and meet Islamic extremists and show them 'love and healing'. Those that preach need to live the preaching. I have seen more than enough of Robinson to assess his attitude and approach to form a opinion. I might now live in Cornwall but I still travel a lot. For instance I was in Yorkshire for a week only recently (and got to see the victory at Newcastle). You though make my point for me. No-one questions the need to deal with extremists, or any other kind of criminals, whatever their background. What is wrong is to categorise a whole religion which is what people like Robinson do. You make the same mistake in using "Islamic" when just "extremists" is all that is needed. We don't describe the IRA as "Catholic" terrorists do we? Islam is not a race, how many times does this have to be stated. No it isn't and that is actually a major point here. The point I was making was that some people who support Robinson are, at worse, racists who don't understand that Islam is not a race and attack it under false pretensions. So hang on here .....Internationalists like you, encourage mass immigration or at least widely increased immigration of widely divergent cultures....and then you have the bare faced cheek to say to those....decades later when we have to deal with yearly bomb and truck attacks..which happen across the world.....'We have to persevere'!!! I don't consider myself an "internationalist". I consider myself a realist who accepts we are where we are. Which demands that we deal with things in a real way. One that is achievable and can yield actual results. Any debate over whether another approach in the past would have been better, or worse, conducted with hindsight, is a totally pointless exercise. How we gradually move to a society where everyone feels comfortable may well involve having to ban things which are not acceptable to the majority of the UK population. Nothing should ever be permitted for religious reasons if it conflicts with the standards endorsed by the majority. That may well mean that we upset some people in the short term. Contrary to that should be that we shouldn't ban things that don't conflict, and just appear strange. We don't have to live with terrorist attacks. Terrorists need to be found and punished. They also need to be isolated from, and by, their religion. Any peace loving citizens, whatever their faith or lack of faith, need to be made welcome within the one race that really matters. The human race.
I didn't say it was possible, I only said it was desirable but as it isn't possible we need to adopt practical solutions. Who knows what the future holds though? Religion won't die anytime soon, and certainly not in our lifetimes but if Christian belief in the UK can undergo such a decline as we have witnessed in the last 50 years then who can safely predict whether the future generations of those currently holding Muslim beliefs will remain as devout. In 100 years things may be very different and no-one will neither notice nor care.
