There are no 'big clubs' in for him though; I hardly think Everton are a big club but I suppose he could stay in Liverpool if he really likes it there. Someone has to.

Does anyone know when he is likely to sign (if he's going to sign)? I.e. whether he will be able to play on Saturday against West Brom?

He may have had a subs appearance in a Liverpool friendly but no way am I looking up their stuff to find out. In other words - he is somewhere between the fitness of Sako and Bolasie. Liverpool have a modern, 54k seater stadium and are just about to complete a new main stand. They have state-of-the-art training facilities and a Category One Academy. We have none of these things. As for the willy-waving 'better fans' nonsence, we have a few dozen black-shirted kids in one corner of the ground, led by some ex-Spud supporting Poles, jumping up and down and smashing a drum; in every other respect our support is exactly the same as any other club's. I really did think that this sort of bitter and delusional thinking was restricted to NSC, but clearly not.

Finished 15th last season, and a top half finish this season would be a great result...how on earth can you say we are on a par..
