A car based analogy but it it does nicely suit modern society. “If you think you are smarter than the last generation, 50 years ago a car manual told you how to set the valves and now it tells you to not touch the engine and oh, not to drink the battery acid.” Nice to see how we have progressed! I’m sure there must be a bbc programme covering it somewhere. Edited by Eaglecoops (18 Feb 2022 6.48pm)

Edited by Eaglecoops (18 Feb 2022 6.48pm) I'm pretty sure instructing people not to drink car battery acid is a demonstration of a complete resistence to natural selection. You can't help but feel that anybody needing to be notified of such things should quite probably not be in charge of a toaster, let alone a car.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Anyone else see Clive Myrie's reports from Kyiv today? Top quality journalism and a credit to the organisation.

Just turned on Football Focus which is first and foremost a programme about men's football so why do they have to have not only Alex Scott presenting - I have no problem with that - but also another female pundit!

Well, they do say 'a woman's work is never done'. Which is probably why they get paid less.

Men's Rugby last night. Wales v France. The after-match analysis by RTE ? a female journalist, a female ex-rugby player and an old bloke who presumably had something relevant to say. RTE's levels of Soc-Lib lunacy makes the BBC look like the Enoch Powell channel.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
