...Wilbraham was not silly, he gave Stoke more problems by putting it out of play..


I was very poor.....Very league one.....Wilbs is good at holding the ball up and linking....But he's no more a striker than he is a defender.


Have to agree. Wilbs belongs in League 1 however he failed to spoil what was a fantastic finish. Thought the atmosphere was a bit subdued but then I was close to the away support.

Wilbraham on for Chamakh. That must be the first time Chamakh has been replaced by a donkey since he left Morrocco!

I don't think any of this Wilbraham bashing is really needed. He did his job fine considering he hasn't played all season.

 

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Wilbs was great when he came on, we needed someone to hold the ball, and he did that

Because he wanted a physical presence to help defend a lead, which we did.

It was hilarious after Wilbs came on at the end!

His comedy sidefoot pass (straight out of play) instead of a shot when the ball came out to him after a counterattack was golden - as was the lovely dummy he threw in the box when he should have been a bit more 'League 1' and knocked it in! Priceless!
