No-one has any real handle on what's going on so fair enough to keep all the speculation and wild managerial fantasies in one thread.

Someone give me a reason why we are not biting Brendan Rogders arm off. Nearly won the Prem with Liverpool, plays good football, is at a mickey mouse club/ league, great with youth team players, needs to get back in the Prem. Not rocket scince DRR

Biting his arm off will get us nowhere because they've got him electronically wired into their computer so that he can't be disconnected. The other thing is that whilst you and I might know that football in Scotland is s***e and that it's hard to take a club seriously when it's the only actual contender in the country, if you're involved with Celtic you think it's God's gift to football and that you have arrived. The fact that Barcelona thrashed you 7 - 0 in the Champions' League wouldn't stop you seeing a move even to that club as anything other than a step down. It's like an addictive drug.

Edited by acepal (31 May 2017 9.51pm) Would be a great Palace manager but would we be prepared to pay up to of north 4m for a release clause. He's the only name that stands out, that genuinely could get us top 10. Also signed Benteke and Sakho both a Liverpool.
