Should CPFC offer them a beam back to Selhurst Park? - they get an outing (as far into South London as they dare); Millwall fans remain innocent; Brighton fans can practice being on their best behaviour (ready for outing to Wembley)?

It would be a good offer, but many of them are convinced that a visit to the New Den is the safest away day in the country because of the covered walkway. They even want the lower tier as well because the throat-slitting gestures, etc. are just banter from those Millwall rascals. Personally I'm looking forward to them walking unawares into the London Bridge ambush. I get the impression that it was an awayday that most of them have avoided in the league, but now they're full of bravado.

I am actually going into Brighton today on the train with my dear wife and daughter.As per the last time, when I alight at Brighton station I will say "I am now in enemy territory" ! Train takes us past their training complex in Lancing.The last time we went past my daughter said "Don't look Dad" !!!!!
