And that was during Parish's time. So somehow things get over the line. Let's face it, we aren't that popular as a destination for someone without prior knowledge and we have been paying high wages to get what we need, affecting our transfer kitty.

From what I've heard, wd have offered loan deal with obligation to buy for 16m at end of season. W ham have offered same but with an option to buy at end of season..

But if they need €25m by the end of January what’s the point of taking £2m now and £14m in June? And if we’re happy to pay £2m now and HAVE to pay a further £14m in June why not just pay £16m now? Or am I missing something?
