Syd, what I do have is an extensive football knowledge through basic reading. Simon Jordan had business acumen, better than yours in terms of wealth I'd imagine. What happened to him? Mark Goldberg? The list goes on.

The fact is that football is a business few understand and profit from. Your logic is that he club should spend and pay mega wages in an attempt to remain in the promised land. That is just ridiculous. We need to invest in the infrastructure which the club are doing. It isn't fancy, it doesn't get headlines but it does give us a platform to continue building.

I hope you and similar fans get your signing soon. I am becoming bored of the moaning and fear such nonsense will drive our very good owners out in a worst case scenario.

In one breath you reckon SJ had no business sense. In the other you want cpfc 2010 to behave exactly like a Goldberg/Jordan to deliver you with the signings you want, without considering the long term picture.

The bottom line is ...CPFC2010 directors have put their own hard earned money into this club. They need to be comfortable with the levels of risks and rewards involved in spending to stay in premiership vs adopting a more conservative strategy and not face a cash crunch upon relegation,especially if they fail to regain promotion. It is easy for supporters to want CPFC2010 to splash the cash ..but it is not supporters money and they will not put their hands in the pocket if we go broke.

At some point in the future ..CPFC 2010 may sell out and we may get a billionnaire owner but that will come with its own issues. For now ...I think all supporters need to remember that we are lucky to have the owners we do have and we should respect that it is their money ..not ours..we have limited rights!!

We are talking about only reinforcing by 2 decent players to help keep our hopes alive. If we cant do that then I think the supporters are being sold short. End of
