I really don't think there would be too much criticism from our supporters if Benteke was sold.He has been a real disappointment.

He's just about already scored more goals than our top scorer has all season for the last few years. Does he run around like a headless chicken? No. That's not the sort of striker he is. Is he a potent goalscorer? Yes. We just don't supply him.

He could be waiting a while though.

Benteke is another hapless Ade Akinbyi type signing but without the work rate. My heart sinks when I think of what £30m could have bought in his place.
