No way are we paying Ferguson 60k a week. We never were either. Agree - his previous deal was reportedly c£30k a week and after 3 years of injuries there is no way he will receive a pay rise. At the most he is on parity with a higher % of his wages being incentive based. A championship club would probably be offering no more than £10k a week so anything above that as a basic would be a decent deal for the young man

Being very unfair on the guy... one injury after another... Roy obviously wants to give him a chance and I remember seeing him play for WBA ... a top player... hope he can get fit and stay that way....

The guy has been a complete disaster. Of course people are going to poke fun a bit that's just natural. Sadly I doubt very much he'll ever return to the player he apparently was.. He's been out for over 2 seasons now I think. Nobody can be out for that long and return to being the player they were before.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
