I think you are fully entitled to a rant from time to time, given the level of hypocrisy and lack of common sense being posted by the "other side". It always makes me laugh to hear them complain about a lack of an "alternative view" when their view is completely in the rear view mirror without any clear direction of where they are headed or how they are going to get there. Some of the problems are real and solutions need to be found. Identifying problems is easy. Complaining about them and apportioning blame even easier. It's finding solutions, acceptable to enough of us in our democracy, that actually work which is hard and I don't hear even a whisper of them.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
