Sorry if I've already posted this observation. The cheapest ticket for the 1966 World Cup Final was 10/- (50p). Adjusted for inflation, that would be about £9.50 in today's money. I therefore agree with your assertion...and some!

The best one was the goalie who got a free kick when he flapped at a cross and collided with his own player. Then took off his glove and claimed he'd hurt his hand. At worse he'd stubbed his pinky when he failed to catch the ball.

Nice goal from Kane, great start. We're dead on the left flank. EVERY time Shaw has the ball he's passed it back. It's driving me nuts. Edited by Eaglehamster (03 Jul 2021 8.36pm) I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.
