Agreed, Munoz has disappointed me in all second half performances in all his matches so far, especially after about 60 minutes. I do wonder when 1:0 up like yesterday and the Spurs match that Clyne could be a good replacement for him which may help us more defensively? I also like that more on here are now realising that as good as the silky skills shown by Eza that his work rate isn’t good enough for the team and needs working on.
I've been saying this for a good while. Some on here took offence. Eze, like Zaha previously is beyond criticism. PV was lambasted for leaving him out, Roy was a hero for bringing him back. I look forward to seeing if Glasner can fit him into the new tactical plan. I'm not so sure we can afford luxury players who don't put in the amount of effort that is needed for a pressing game.

Yet another late goal, I was 'Spitting feathers' and in a hissy fit.

At least we didn't lose as many predicted and a draw was what many would have settled for. I didn't see much lamentation, but there were many with gut wrenching pain when Starman's superb centre grazed Woodrow's head and nestled in the bottom corner of our net. I was right behind the cross and I didn't see the ball cross the line, but the Luton lot made clear what had happened. I was beyond consoling. Even worse was my fear they would go on for another. Very happy to hear the full time whistle.

OG was unlucky or ill-advised re subs. He'll learn quickly.
Ebs is not at full fitness, but even at full fitness he likely wouldn't rush to cover Andros at the 95-minute mark. Almost anyone in the squad would have done more to challenge Townsend.
Wharton was exhausted, but an exhausted Wharton is a better defender than Hughes has been lately.
Ayew looked tired, but he always looks tired – and outworks everyone else on the pitch.

Three weeks off. Im expecting a very different set of players after this. Altitude training abroad somewhere? Whatever Glasner devises in this break, we should see significant difference. We are already looking better and he's only been at Palace a fortnight.
They are off to Marbella & have friendly v Bodo/Glimt at 15.00 on Thurs.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Looking better and being better are too different things. We did not win yesterday because we are still very poor in the final third and our defending of high balls is still very shaky as is conceding goals in the last fifteen of games which will take some fixing as the team balance is all wrong due to the lack of key player missing because of long term injury. The next two games (Notts Forest and Bournemouth) are important opportunities, thereafter the fixture get tougher in the run up to the season end.

Some thoughts on the key themes from yesterday's game. I don't think the substitutions had anything to do with Luton's equaliser - we were actually very much on the front foot in the final minutes, and managing it well. There was what looked a clear foul on Ahamada which allowed Luton to break. Andros delivered a good ball but normally a cross from that angle doesn't create too much danger. Their goal was one of those things, not inviting a big post-mortem after a pretty good performance from the boys. Linked to the above, the ref was one of the worst I can recall seeing - I was particularly unhappy about him failing to notice Morris's constant backing in and grappling of Andersen, and giving free-kicks the wrong way round. Mitchell had a couple of lapses but generally performed quite well, and created what looked an unmissable headed chance for JPM. Ayew surely wasn't fit and those who said he shouldn't have been taken off must have been watching a different game from me. Eze was the best player on the field by a mile in the 2nd half, again not quite sure about some of the lukewarm comments about his performance. Agree with Munoz comments, highly energetic and dangerous first half, but lost his way later in the game, particularly defensively. I actually thought there was some encouragement to be taken from the game despite the disappointing end. Hiowever, their equaliser was the difference between feeling pretty safe from relegation and thinking we still have work to do.

We may be feeling robbed after the result but there’s always somebody worse off than us; both Burnley and Sheffield let two goal leads evaporate.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

At this stage of the season you do not do retraining like that it would have negative effect.
It's internationals fair amount of the players wont even be available.
Whenever Palace have had a break they come back awful.
