I honestly believe that palace should be seen as an exciting prospect for a young manager. All the speculation of a rebuild of the club, possible new ground or redevelopment. If Howe doesn't see this as something he wants to jump at them it'll be his loss. So why not let dougie have stab at it. Give him all the support he'd need, perhaps in the shape of steve coppel. And who knows we may find our very own Eddie Howe. Getting into a bidding was with the clowns has already given me bad feeling about the guy. I'd stick by dougie if we went down or not, at least you know what his intentions where.

Whatever anyone thinks of him now - George Burley was given those assurances but they weren't honoured. If Howe takes the job and we let him go a few months down the line then he's taken a massive backward step.
