And no, I am NOT constantly posting that I 'like' him. In fact I don't think I have ever said that and in the summer I said several times that we should get rid of all our keepers and start again. The reason why I post in this thread - and will keep so doing - is to protest at the unfair vitriol aimed at WH by you, Brentmiester and a few others, claiming that every goal is his fault (not the defence's), yet if we have a clean sheet then it is down to the defence not the keeper, whilst there are many players in our team that sadly are not up to the required standard yet do not have 170+ page threads about them. You've made your point many, many times that you don't rate him, so why does this need to be said every time he concedes a goal? We really need to get this thread locked.

14,000 comments on BBS and over 170 pages on here seems to suggest that perhaps Wayne isnt very good.! Maybe all we have but that is completely down to the board and if we get relegated it will be 100% their fault. Maybe keepers do make errors, but not EVERY game, and some keepers do make match winning saves, Wayne doesnt!
Surely you dont think he or the other players actually read whats on here do you? Is a forum for people to let off steam when something annoys them, and that is what his many mistakes do!

No, he doesn't make match-winning saves. However, nor does he make errors every game. According to the official PL site (who are presumably unbiased), he has not made any errors leading to goals this season. He is an average PL keeper, but until January we are not going to get anyone better. The thread is only 170 pages because the same arguments for and against are made (mainly by the same people, including myself) every time we concede a goal.

You seriously have issues and should seek help.
