Well reasonable point and if the rest of our season so far had been OK we'd probably not be too unhappy with that. Dropped two points because of a pen. Better than shipping three or more goals which is what had been happening. Watford lucky to get a point really. C'est deja quelque chose.

A fair result IMO. Clattenburg was ok too. Benteke's miss cost us 3 points. A nice start with the new manager. Also, didn't count too many shots at goal from either side so a good result.

Point was fair. We were rubbish 2nd half, Benteke particularly poor. Defence looked shaky 2nd half, plenty for Big Sam to work on, be amazed to get anything out of the Arsenal game.

Poor second half and please to get a point. But Clattenburg is a cheat. Games should have been sent off and there was no chance that was a penalty for Watford. We seem to be hacked down time and time again when we break and how he gave Zaha a yellow for diving is ridiculous.

Second half was poor and think there obviously will be some very boring times under Allardyce but despite only taking a point it was better all round IMO. Actually appeared to have some game management and some form of tactics today. Good to see he seems to be a fan of Wilf too

Better bit unlucky to concede the penalty and should have converted our own. But defensively much better and a point away without much wrong is a nice change. Something to build on... Arsenal next....

What is it with penalties? We can't score them (missed 4 of our last 6 I think) and we haven't saved one for years.

Not the best second half performance but at least we held out for a point. Am absolutely fuming at Bantekes woeful attempt of a penalty. Just utter arrogance and has without doubt cost us the points today. With the position we find ourselves in we just need to do the basics. Great opportunity missed yet again.

I think we saw the Allardyce approach today. We should have been 2 up at HT, so you would think the players would try and rescue that lead towards the end, but he's likely told them to hold onto the draw after 88 minutes.
