They say if we leave the EU it could cost 1m jobs. So that is +1.8m jobs, minimum plus the £350m a week we'll save. I think that is pretty straight forward to me!

No it hasn't. It's paid in arrears so yes we do hand over £350million a week. The debate should me more about what how much of that we get back, as does the method of its return really constitute to the reduction of this figure.

| I don't think non British passport holders are allowed to join the armed forces unless under special circumstances, i.e. the Irish Guards and the Gurkhas. Bizarrely a Brexit vote be a step in that direction, not the other way round.

In this thread you have been, almost, as sad as the official campaigns. Wrong. 40% of Brexit voters canvassed in one poll said immigration was their primary reason for voting 'Out'. I like aiming my posts at the morons btw

The £350 million a week is wrong, that has been confirmed, it's an old figure from 2014 which is the latest accountable data. If you took the 2016 figure, amount the gross weekly contributions will turn out actually to be far higher. Talking millions to individuals is pointless as to us is sounds a colossal amount but when its national level it's nowhere near as big. Edited by DivingIsNotGood (21 Jun 2016 5.37pm)

Explain then, I'm sure we'd all love to know, how hundreds of people at the same time setup one petition?? At 10,000 signatures, government will respond to the petition Usually at 10,000 signatures the petition gets some social media press where it starts to accelerate.

Well because 8000 people represents less than 0.001% of the population, so to claim it's representative of anything is just not true.
