We were short by 6 points for 8th.
8th to 17th nothing in it nowadays.

Palace 13th 2017/18.

Good point; it works both ways. We have to accept that, if we conduct the managerial interview process in the same way as that for the next Catering Manager, we will lose out on targets, as has happened in the past.

So how did we appoint our catering manager? Because the pie and mash at the Sainsbury's end is horrible - if we've let some Gordon Ramsey slip through our fingers we should know - he's probably serving up really tasty grub at Watford or Southampton. Pellegrino's odds have shortened I reckon bcos negotiations with him or his reps are currently ongoing, that's why Hodgson's odds shortened - in a previous post I predicted Pellegrino's odds tumbling and explained that if Dyche's odds did't go walkabouts in response then it will more than likely be Dyche who we appoint (and that's what's happened) - Schmidt's odds should tumble between now and the weekend, I reckon the other two's odds won't lengthen much when that happens, but if one of them goes back out to 5-1 or 6-1 that's just the bookies trying to make a loser look like a contender to attract a bit of cash. Hard to say, I'd make Dyche slight favourite - reckon we'll know by Monday or Tuesday.

I've said it a number of times on here that Southampton have/are treating Puel very poorly. If I were him I'd be looking to get out and I for one would be very happy to see him at Selhurst.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

To be fair Pardew would have been lower but I couldnt think up enough names of managers

Any chance you could list numbers 937 to 800,037 - I'll do some research and get back to you. Presumably Dwayne Dibley and Rik Mayall are in there somewhere, just below Malcolm Allison?

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

I could but I don't think admin would take too kindly.

If it helps please refer to the electoral role for the Selhurst/ South Norwood/Crystal Palace areas for a start. I am sure most will have kicked a football at some point in their lives and I would be happier with them appearing within those numbers. Rik Mayall is out because he is rather unfortunately, dead!

significant move - Dyche is now 1-7 with Betfair, not 7-1 ... 1-7, pellegrino's on the slide to 3s ... i've announced prematurely b4 but it's starting to look seriously Dychey.

This suggests that Ranieri (ugh!) is on the short list too.

This is a very good, and very positive, assessment of Dyche. It has reassured me that actually, Dyche and Palace are a very good fit
