1. Ian Walsh's leap to head home against Burnley 1979. 2. The Don running around Stepney having pushed the ball to his other side, just before slotting home (Man U 1972) 3. My first Palace match against Colchester 1963-64 season 0-0. I don't remember anything about the game but I have a photographic type image in my head taken from the old stand looking across a muddy, largely grass free pitch to the old terrace (where the AW stand now is) with a backdrop of the terraced houses which were then visible - all cloaked in the grey of a misty South London winter afternoon. ( a more recent one - the crowd, at the other end of where I was sitting, leaping and celebrating to confirm that McAnuff's shot had indeed found the back of the net - Withdean 2005)

Hey, Pete53 - is this the one? Sorry Peter Burridge's sig has obliterated part of it. (Pete's a legend by the way)

What about the Palace strip? I thought they were wearing all white by then without any colour trim around the collar and cuffs. We could do with a pair of strikers like Burridge and Holton now. I believe they scored around 40 goals between them that season. Many thanks for posting the photo. Pete
