Utterly predictable lineup - saw that a million miles away. Play Ward at right back FFS. Gayle instead of Mariappa and I'd have been delighted with that line-up. This was the one thing I was truly concerned about with the Pulis appointment. Even if we stay up he's gonna stifle the development of players like Williams, Bannan, Gayle and Campana for years (or just sell them for below what they're worth because he doesn't perceive their value). If he keeps the club up then really that comes before individual player development. Players will look after themselves and are paid crazy wages.....We will judge Pulis on results at the end of the day.

Whenever I question Puncheon's selection he plays half decently. So will repeat - not convinced by Puncheon, bench at best.

But what do you want exactly? Do you think we played exciting football under Holloway/freedman? Fans want too much from clubs,they want brilliant football and to sit comfortably and unfortunately that rarely happens to anyone outside the top 5/6. We don't really have a choice, we play defensively to our strengths and stay up, or we try and play fancy like you want and we go down.

Remind me what the result in that game was? Am utterly convinced that if Gayle had played over Jerome and Ward was at RB (with SOK or Guediora in midfield from the start) that we'd have won.
