Nice thought Percy, but football is probably more heartless than that. A thought does occur though. If Palace release palyers too early their saleable value my be devalued. So this may be a silent sales technique.

I believe I read in the SLP today that Wilbrahimovic is being looked at by Holloway at Millwall as his contract is up

I'll never forget the day that Danny Butterfield scored that hattrick.

I think there is a slight delay because Palace have waited until now to talk to players about new contracts e.g. Jules and Chamakh. Once we have secured contracts with the players that we want to stay then the other out of contract players will be released.
