You will save in the long run and the Government do a scrappage scheme Not too sure if a combi boiler is ever the answer. I've read that professionals do not rate them With those you have heating or water. Do you mean a condensing boiler ? Go for ground-source if you have the land and space combined with underfloor heating as the 60 degrees water means large radiators.

Combi boiler is just the name for all modern combination boilers that instantly heat the water and do not require a tank. You can get condensing and non condensing, the condensing are most efficient
