Not sure I'd categorise this one as 'great', but I like the intro to Video Killed The Radio Star by Buggles and have it as the start up tune on my PC.
And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways |

To be fair I can't verify this, could be an urban myth.

To be fair I can't verify this, could be an urban myth. It's true! He got paid £30,000 for a five second piece of music, which doesn't seem bad pro-rata. However, it was used by windows on millions of pc's. I don't think Eno will be too worried, given he's produced some of the biggest selling albums of al time.

[Link] Anarchy In The UK by The Sex Pistols! Those five stabbing motion chords by Steve Jones followed by Johnnys rasping vocals,"Right, now." with a back drop of drums and bass then laughing "Ha ha ha ha" before launching into a shrieking "An-ar-chy for the U-K...."! Never lost it's power even after nearly 40 (WOW 40) years.Ollie's Dad,Ash. Edited by OllieMaidstoneEagle (09 Apr 2015 8.49pm)
