He's not. He's just saying he'll allow priests to "forgive" the women and doctors involved. They'll still be murdering bastids according to him and the catholic church.

And he's decided that a jubilee isn't a jubilee, he just fancied one so that's that apparently.

But the curious thing is how can you forgive something that's unforgivable in the so called eyes of your god, provided it happens in a certain window of opportunity. You'd think God would be better organized on the matter, than to just tell one bloke and hope he passes it on.


Hence the thread title.

It's similar when they had the women priests/bishops thing. I couldn't give a crap which sex tells fairytales dressed up as the truth, but didn't they go against their own rules/guidance just to comply with discrimination laws?

I'm getting strongly drawn towards the Hindu religion. I like it because it has no single founder, no single scripture, and no commonly agreed set of teachings, giving a more personal and tailor made approach to faith. Also, it's considered to be one of the more peaceful religions, a big plus for me. And they have the goddess Kali (the Goddess of Time, Change, Power, Creation, Preservation and Destruction) who I'd like to f*ck.

True, but for me, Kali is the clincher. She has at least four arms so she could skin up, administer a ferocious* hand job and errm entertain with a shadow hand puppet show all at once. Spiritual enlightenment enough for any man.

*She has a down side in that she tends to butcher her husbands
