Lovely city Don't know how your getting to Vancouver but if you have the time, fly into Edmonton,I think its cheaper flying direct there.(theres not much there to be honest) Get the train from Edmonton to Vancouver it is one of the best train journeys in the world, going through the heart of the Rockies. You get a cabin on board, the restaurant on board is amazing, the scenery is unbelievable, you wont be dissapointed.

Weather permitting, hire a bike and cycle around the coastal path. Best way to see the city! I'd advise staying in the West End as that side of the city, near Stanley Park, is nicer than the Downtown area without being far from anything. Next time fly to Calgary and do a road trip west. Banff, Lake Louise, the mountain pass highway from Lake Louise to Jasper and Mount Revelstoke are all must do's.
Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |
