If side 2 of Low had carried on in the same vein that would be up there too - but I just never 'got' it.

There a good songs on the vast majority of his albums so choosing the best ones is largely pointless. Some like the Berlin period but I feel his best work was from the beginning to Diamond Dogs with a good comeback in the 80's. Scary Monsters certainly restabished his status.

There a good songs on the vast majority of his albums so choosing the best ones is largely pointless.

Some like the Berlin period but I feel his best work was from the beginning to Diamond Dogs with a good comeback in the 80's. Scary Monsters certainly restabished his status.

Just listening to Hunky Dory now Pikey. Haven't listened for a while. Forgot how good it is. Quicksand absolutely amazing. To follow it (ok on side 2) with Fill Your Heart was genius.
