Great tackler and a great player for us but we've changed and he can't pass or keep the ball well enough for what we want. If he did he would be ahead of mcarthur and cabaye. Like glen thanks for the memories and wish him all the best if he goes

He looked pedestrian and off the pace againgst Chelsea.He almost went in the last 'Window'. I would not be disappointed if he went in this 'Window'.

think we should take the couple of million & save his £40k a week wages...what he did to help us up & during the 1st season was simply amazing.

but...hes as a club weve moved forward and i feel we could do without him.

Given his age, this is perhaps our last opportunity to "cash in" on Jedi and perhaps his last opportunity to get a transfer within the Prem.

He's been a terrific servant to the club and - if he goes - he will always be welcome at Selhurst.

 

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Jedi was with Australia when Pards arrived and then got injured. He has not really had a good run in the team since. A change would probably be beneficial for his career but it would be sad to see another of our former stalwarts heading for the door!

He also got a big suspension as soon as he played for elbowing a West Ham player - so I should imagine he didn't make a great first impression for Pardew.

Absolute bollocks-he actually looked one of our better players in that game and gave the ball away only once if I recall. Sure his passing isn't up to that of Cabayes for example, however there was a passing stat from that game branded on here rendering him more than acceptable in that department. Let's not make up stats to satisfy events, we don't need to,he simply doesn't naturally suit what we're about anymore.

Given our abject performances that night, this is hardly a compliment.He is just not going to be a positive influence on our team any more and a transfer is in the interests of all parties.
