Its the po faced hypocrisy that I find amusing the do as I say not as I do mantra. Wasn't there something a year or two back where a Labour MP was campaigning for a minimum wage yet paying her intern nothing. It is the same over here where you have a particularly liberal mayor espousing a minimum wage of $15-00 an hour (because McDonalds, Burger King etc) Can afford to pay it. Yet their sanitation dept is only offering temporary workers who shovel snow after last weekends storm $13-50 an hour.

George Osborne has managed to avoid a lot of tax yet says he is trying to clamp down. As it is a unite spokesman has said that the person with the grievance had been employed on short term contracts. Hopefully the truth will out. If Unite were in the wrong then I'd suggest that their members join another union.

Would be amusing to see people working for Unite belonging to a different union.
