I don't think so bony is well known for his strength and hold up play and not to bad with the ball at his feet either.

I would far rather Bony than Benteke. Bony has still managed the odd goal at City despite limited opportunities and hasn't moaned but got on with it.
Benteke has managed very few goals despite 11 starts and 6 sub apps is it? But he has moaned plenty about not being in the starting 11 every week.
But more importantly, I think Bony is the better all round striker

He looked very poor and out of condition when he did play. Benteke would be much better if only we had a choice.

And is good in the air.
I understand he works very hard every day and pushes everyone in training.

I heard on the radio that Benteke scored ten (yes double figures )last season, despite limited playing time.

The reason Bony was so good at Swansea was the service from the likes of Sigurdsson which he would snatch at / run on to etc and often score from.

I do rate him, but he needs to the service and we don't have that player at Palace yet.

(Maybe we do in Cabaye, but we don't use him in that role.)

Well then, let's by him as well. Should be able to get the pair for around the same price as Benteke, no?

Or do I have to wake up now?

We should target bony , only 2 years older than benteke, would suit our style and maybe even cheaper, also has prem exeprience which is important.
