Nintendo shares doubled in a couple of weeks, then plummetted again once the lawsuits started. We had 2 guys falling off a cliff whilst chasing pokemon, another guy drove into a police cruiser, an old lady had a heart attack trying to catch a rare pokemon... Yet, if it can make a dent into child obesity....

It's because some investors had assumed that Nintendo's profits would be materially impacted by Pokemon. But it doesn't make the game and the CEO came out and said it wouldn't have a massive impact.

You just can't argue against natural selection, and usually when you try to legislate against it, stupid people still find a way to existentially conclude their contribution to the future.

I got sucked in, just out of interest. Damn game keeps freezing though, so annoying when you find a Pokemon you haven't got and then but by the time you've rebooted it's gone. Almost rage quite a couple of times.

I get this vision of a few junior school kids stood in front of teacher and possibly head teacher and asked if someone told them to jump off a bridge, would they do it? The kids answer yes if it was for Pokemon. Bunch of tw&ts. Getting caught while the wide is out and coming in and other moronic ventures to win a cartoon character.
