Again he'd improve us however doesn't bode well for the change in style that AP was talking about the other day... Unless the change in style is to increase the amount of Delaney long balls. Doesn't matter who plays upfront if they don't get the service. Think there was one decent ball into the box today... And that was from Jedinak out on the left!

If Wickham can last say 20 games before getting injured then technically Carroll would only need to stay injury free for 18 games so it would then be his turn... I can see why we are in for him now!

If andy Carroll had not been injury prone we wouldn't even be thinking of signing him as he would be worth 60m. This is the playing field were kicking around in, would be a amazing signing for a clue our size.

Anyone who uses the NewsNow news pages have probably already seen this. But the above West Ham fan site seems to dismiss the idea of Carroll moving as 'complete speculation'

Rightly or wrongly I assumed that Benteke ( or Berahino ) would be signed to play alongside Wickham. So how is signing Carroll going to work ??
