The worst part is Guardian readers supporting the act and rushing out to buy Celtic shirts. All we need now is those who don't approve, to perpetuate sectarianism by wearing Rangers kits. We're not talking St Pauli or Dulwich Hamlet.

Would take some balls to go to Israel and start waving around Palestinian flags. Whether you believe in the cause or not. I'm not a fan of either side of the stupid sectarian debate by the way. I would think think that the aim was twofold. It probably was intended to show solidarity support for the Palestinian cause, which is oppressed by the state of Israel. But secondly it is also intended to partly intimidate the Israeli players.
