It's the Croydon Advertiser that made a story out of it. And the BBC – who believe the Advertiser is a credible newspaper that writes sensible stories and not s*** to fill a daily story count – has used it as gospel. Deary me.

Many years ago you may have had a valid point but BBC is no different and itself fills up a daily news count by printing rubbish.
