He'll get 5-10 over the season I reckon. Him, Beneteke and Wilf seem to be developing a good relationship on the pitch. I think we'll see a lot of Beneteke knock downs and layoffs into areas where Townsend is cutting in.

Things are on the up - I didn't think I could risk having any of our players in last season.

Yup. We've been only too aware on these boards of the need to find decent delivery and this man is mustard. He delivers a delicious ball alright. With Andros in the squad Wilf will benefit from watching the man, no doubt. Just imagine - pinpoint crosses from either flank. Get that right and either CW or Big Ben will provide the finishing touch. Townsend played a huge part in moving the ball quicker today than we have been accustomed to and if this is the model for AP's New Selhurst Order then things are looking good.
