It is a must win this one cause we have 3 matches against top teams in december and the only chance to get victory is today and later against Hull.

It should be Tomkins, Dann, Delaney, Ward across the back four until we can replace some of those in the January window? Pardew is dicing with his job playing Kelly again today - not sure just bringing in Wickham will be the answer to our mainly defensive problems - let's hope I'm wrong and we aren't continuing with the Pardew out talk at the end of this match?

Glad that Townsend has been dropped for a game, he will be a useful sub for the second half as well and perks up what continues to be a fairly woeful bench

I like the idea of being able to bring Townsend on for impact if necessary. Not much else of an option in that respect on the bench though. Is Lee injured?

I really thought Damo would be brought in with Tomkins to RB & Ward LB.... dangerous playing Kelly against Routledge & Barrow with his confidence in tatters.
