Though we will miss Wilf for 4-6 games depending on how the Ivorian's do in the Africa nations we should benefit in the long term . It cant do him any harm to play in that competition which though a bit of a joke in years gone by is now comparable to anything Europe can offer .

The stats back up Zaha's progress this year. Added assists and goals to his game, far better success rate on take-ons too.

If you watch him for any sort of time you can see his development from his positioning, decision making (still improving) and work rate. He's by no-means the finished article but you can clearly see he's the shining light in a poor side. Pretty much everything positive going forward involves him.
