So we dispose of his services for who? Someone else to sit on the bench? If Palace are also willing to let Lee, Sako and Mutch go (speculated on by the media) our midfield's going to be pretty short on numbers.

Against Man Utd Flamini looked good, and I think of the four he's the one to keep. Lee, Mutch and Sako as far as I'm concerned are very much replicable. But if Flamini can get and stay fit, I think he'll offer a lot of cover for the season. Arguably of course all of these are players who realistically are 'back ups' to the first choice.

Those would be the three I'd want to see out the door first. Ive not seen enough of Flamini this season, but he was quality for Arsenal when fit last year.
