Club 'ask Pardew to step down'

This post has been merged from a topic called 'pardew sacked' by Guntrisoft It had been a long time coming. At most other clubs he would have been sacked last season. Credit to SP for giving him a chance to turn around results. Despite heavy investment in the squad result have remained poor, especially at home, and it's hard to justify to supporters keeping someone in the job who has provided very few home wins in 2 years. I trust the board to get the right replacement, spend well in the window and for us to stay up. COYP.

I am glad he is gone. He didn't know what it took to grind out results. It's need to be someone that has the same mentality of getting the team to be more possession based however I can see it being big Sam which I hope it not. He may keep us up but we won't get anywhere for years to come. Lombardo and Mancini anyone

Problem is I hope is not Millen in charge on Boxing Day. He needs to leave with a lot of the other coaches. Time to switch then up and get a whole new back room team in.

I feel sad I must admit, I think Pardew is a likeable chap! It is the right time to move on though.
