From his post-match interview: Interviewer: How good where the fans today? Sakho: You didn't see?? Today we played 12 against 11. [smiles and laughs] He certainly knows how to get fans to warm to him, popular bloke amongst Liverpool fans. He looks to be the positive relaxed personality off the field but very professional on it. As long as he stays away from the banned substances and turns up for training on time we should be golden.

He looked to have a very solid and assured game but worried me slightly when he made short passes to one of our other players on the edge of the box. Maybe I was worried because I have less confidence in them being able to cope with it. But yes he looked at ease.

Apart from his mad moment in the box (and he does have them- remember when we won 3-1 on Gerard's last game and his antics with playing on when injured)I thought he was quality. Top class and a fantastic loan signing that I would hope we would make permanent if we stay up.

The Sakho short passes come from him being used to playing the ball out at Liverpool rather than hoofing it, we should look to use that.

Yep. Probably already been said...but what Luka gave us today was options and stability! He adds that much needed steel in front of the back four and is not afraid to make a big tackle. This allows other players to push forward knowing he is filling in the gap left by them. When he is playing, we have more options all over the pitch. Basically, he is class!
