What a complete and utter load of total unadulterated bollocks. Absolute pigs*** from start to finish. Every Sam interview I've seen since we were safe has been about getting the right players, they must be an improvement, we push on from here. Not the slightest hint that he is not comfortable with the Board's backing. And Parish has spoken about Sakho, concerned about the price obviously but not under any illusions about getting him on the cheap. It really f***s me off that someone gets paid for spouting malicious, s***-stirring sh!te like this. Edited by chateauferret (23 May 2017 1.42am)

This story is total bollocks. That same s*** rag posted this only a few hours earlier, which seems to indicate that this so-called 'crunch talk' meeting is just a meeting about recruitment strategy:

And another thing. Sam and Co were jumping about with joy when those goals were going in against Hull. Not a polite wave like Pulis or a stupid dance like Pardew. Did they look like men who were likely to f*** off at no notice?

I'm sure there will be a meeting. Every club does that. In fact I'm sure there will be several meetings as decisions are made on which players are released and which are pursued. As for the Daily Mud, someone wants attention.

Remind us what they spent in January. ? We were the biggest spenders in Jan. Maybe though Parish has said about cutting costs. Sam thinks he needs minimum 6 players and that costly. He's an experienced coach and managed many clubs in the top flight. I heard that parish likes a say on transfers like players with sell on value. Sam mentioned about not just being a fire fighter and building for the future. As a chairman though you just want prem football every season.

There's probably a get out clause in his contract and by beating hull and staying up he's earned himself 2m survival bonus.

I didn't read anything in that article that we didn't already know. Sam is going to sit down with Parish to discuss the summer's transfer strategy and the paper has twisted it round to make a story

Are the quotes exclusive to the Mail? If so, it is perfectly possible the reporter said: "do you mind if we spin this as crunch talks where you'll decide if you want to stay?" And Allardyce said "sure ". If he said these things to assembled journos, there is nothing in them.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
