He's not as good as Bolasie (no time for anyone who says differently) but we still need him. As long as he keeps up the work rate it'd be tough to replace him, would be needless to sell him. He's a better all round player than Bolasie.

I like Townsend, trouble is he blows hot and cold far too much for a premiership player. If we can get 20m we should take it and look at Oliver Burke or Demerai Gray

I'd be amazed if he left Palace, he's been a Palace player for longer than he was at Newcastle so don't really understand the "come home andros "s*** being spouted by the geordies.

Surely they wouldn't have put a release clause in his contract, for the same amount that we signed him for ? Would be ludicrous.

I think Newcastle will struggle next season, not sure he would fancy it. Not to say we won't be struggling too, but we have the foundations now to press on, just got to keep the players injury free.
