I think a lot will depend if Sammy is still there. He I am sure will tell him what he thinks. If not I am sure the videos will be looked at. I think he will try to get some of the players who FDB had upset back in line so Ward, Kelly and Luka will either start or play some at some point

Roy is a 4-4-2 man but with only one striker surely he'll go 4-2-3-1

With a fully fit team I think we could see a bit of a variation on 4-3-3: Hennessey Fosu-Mensah, Dann, Sakho, PvA/Schlupp Milo RLC McArthur (it's wishful thinking on my part that Punch is dropped) Zaha Townsend Benteke McArthur over Cabaye? Really? Glad you're not manager!

Luka, Cabaye and RLC what a midfield 3 - it's clear that is a powerful yet creative midfield. It baffles me how Punch continues to get in the first team and if Roy does the same, i'll lose my mind.

Hennessy Sub: ward, reidewald, speroni, Tomkins, mccarther, punch, sako. Would be nice to get diabate who's a free agent as back up striker.

Agree with this 100% as our best team, however Roy probably won't have this team at his disposal, so you may see TFM back at centre half (assuming Sakho not match fit) and Ward out right with RLC coming in. You are then left with the choice of Riedewald, Jimmy Mc or Punch. I know who I'd pick but I have a feeling Roy will go with Punch. So in short, I think he will effectively play 4-2-3-1 with 2/3 attacking midfielders. Big question for me is whether Cabaye or RLC or both play the attacking midfield roles. If this is how Roy sees it then there would be no place for Punch as he cant play defensively. I look forward to seeing the teamsheet. My team and set-up for Southampton would be Hennessey Ward TFM Dann Schlupp Milivojevic Riedewald Townsend RLC Cabaye Benteke
