The lack of stadium development bugs me the most. 5th year in the prem and apart for some cladding and a lick of paint the stadium is still a substandard arena. When the Americans were onboarded the funds were to be invested in this area. Now looks likely we will get relegated and be in exactly the same position before promotion. This is also my opinion. I love Selhurst but remember the days of 40-50,000 and would love them back - in a new stadium, in the Premier League too if possible!

Yeah completely outrageous the Americans haven't funded a stadium redevelopment in one of the many years we've flirted with relegation. Christ, did know one tell them we just want their well earned money for a new stadium before we drop back down and they get no chance to re-coup said investment. Bloody a***holes I can't believe their not stupid enough to chuck money at ground when in all likelihood we'll be in the Championship soon.

I think the main problem regarding the stadium is the intransigence of the council & Sainsbury's.

I have huge admiration for what Parish, and CPFC2010,has done for the club as I am sure majority of our fans have. However, that doesn't entitle him to be immune to criticism. I think the feeling among a lot of fans is one of frustration that we are now in pretty well the same position as we were this time 4 years ago when we had just been promoted. SP himself publicly stated during the summer break that the club needs to get away from firefighting mode and the perennial relegation battle. That was, if you like, his mission statement, and, as such,it is not entirely unfair to take him to task on that. I don't agree with the OP that "it is time to call out Parish", but, I think, within reason , we are entitled to some explanations and reassurances as to what is going on - after all, SP was always willing to have his voice heard on the occasions when things were going well, so I don't think he can have it both ways.

One would expect the wages bill to include Director's salaries too. I am equally highly unimpressed by their input! Edited by Henry of Peckham (01 Oct 2017 4.26pm)

He spent some 2 hours talking on HOL radio a week or so ago.

I think Jimenez has got it right. The directors don't want to spend a fortune on bodging up the stadium - they want a rebuild as at Anfield. As Steve Parish indicated in his post-Burnley interview, there's a lot of talks going on behind the scenes with architects, planning consultants, Croydon council and Sainsburys etc, But major projects always take ages even before they start. If anyone knows how to unlock the logjam and speed up the process, contact the club. In the meantime, I wish fans would stop bashing Steve P at every opportunity. At the start of the season, most of us were optimistic about the strength of the squad and the potential of the managerial appointment. Things haven't worked out (yet) but we should support Steve and his boardroom colleagues - not continually carp and winge. COYP! Edited by merganser (01 Oct 2017 4.47pm)

He doesn't go on any radio programme to be grilled as you put it, he gave pretty detailed answers on HOL radio.

We have no right to keep asking SP "what is going on". He and others own the club, that doesn't stop genuine supporters expressing their views. I don't want explanations I want some real action towards putting this disaster right. So many errors, we now have a manager who is 70!!!! But we are looking to the future okay....
