Regarding Fosu-Mensah, we need someone capable of coming off the bench and affecting the game We really want Jeff to cement his position at left back, IMO he is the best we have unless Souare really comes back into form. Similarly Ward is improving and has to keep his place to get back to his best. I will be happy to see TFM and Tekkers come on with 20 mins to go.

The best thing about the squad today is we at least have a proper striker on the bench...we now just need one on the pitch

Think the best team we can play except Fosu-M should of course for Schlupp. Not sure about Hodgson's belief in the ex-Leicester player...Good to see Macca back!

We've had trouble scoring all season, we finally get our one and only striker fit again and Roy puts him on the bench. If he's fit enough to sit on the bench he's fit enough to play surely. What a waste, Everton must think Xmas has come early!

Yeah great idea. Just gets back having played no games, goes straight into team and probably pulls up again. Needs to be given a little time to get match fit. For the sake of a week or so rather than risk another long term disaster surely this makes sense!
