Not enough time to prep. Sure, new manager bounce and all that but we just have to play our game like we did v Leicester.

They sell Gylfi and Llorente. get in some sw***y Brazilian who turns out to be a dog, then blame the manager. I hope it bites them on the arse and the end of the season and obviously I shan't be sorry to see Pulis go down with the sinking ship.

Clement was a cocky b******, never a manager, a great no.2 but had no experience with average players and a struggling team. I’m amazed they hired him, and even more amazed that he lasted this long. Would Pulis actually want the Swansea job? Maybe if the price is right but I’d say it’s a big ask. He took a lot of convincing to come to Palace, who’s to say it might be a Bridge too far this time. This post has been merged from a topic called 'Uh oh ..... bad timing or what ?' by Midlands Eagle Suspect Pulis could have a very tricky time at Swansea, assuming he goes there. with palace he had a real weapon in Bolasie who worked like a dream in a well drilled, counter attacking outfit. at West Brom have had a well resourced lower end PL side that he improved a bit until they went stale. Swansea have remained a tippy tappy team but seriously lack threat* (esp with Bony out) Is Pulis going to easily attract the players he needs to turn it around to the extent needed. And to transform their game. I suspect it may be harder than many think. *no doubt they'll go and beat us now.

They only stayed up last season because of Gylfi Sig, who they sold without anything resembling an adequate replacement. As long as we don't gift them 3 points, all will be good. Let's not assume we're guaranteed an easy win - last season's 5-4 is a hard memory to shake.
