I'm not sure he was serious.....he was just virtue signalling his post modernist credentials.....probably to his students. Not good, but then again....it is the social sciences.

Problem is that when its a Muslim perpetrator this kind of thing is presented as indicative of Muslims. I was keen to work in Saudi Arabia a few years ago.
